With roots in Valpolicella Classica, Masi produces and distributes Amarone and other premium wines inspired by the values of the Venetian territories. The Masi story began in 1772, when the Boscaini family acquired prestigious vineyards in the small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”, which is the origin of the company’s name. After more than 200 years of passionate winemaking the company is still in family hands, run by the sixth and seventh generations. Masi wines are modern, balanced and easily identifiable; characteristics which have earned Masi recognition for being benchmark producer of Veronese wines.

Deep purple ruby colour; rich, ripe, plummy cherry aromas and flavours with hints of chocolate, spice and earth. Rich, powerful bouquet with aromas of baked fruit, cooked with herbs and spices. Cherry fruit preserve and cinnamon are the major components in this full- bodied wine with a firm, long finish. Excellent as an after-dinner wine, or to go with red meat, game, quail and richly flavoured dishes. It’s one of the best wine styles to pair with well-aged cheeses, such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola.
